Comparison of all Yamaha 125 Bikes; YBR125, YBR125G, YB125Z and YB125Z-DX

A few days ago, I wrote a post about a comparison of Yamaha YBR 125 and Honda Pridor bikes and I asked my readers to help me to decide which one I should buy for myself. One of my friends asked me why I didn't consider other models of Yamaha 125 bikes i.e. Yamaha YB125Z, YB125Z-DX, YBR125G. So that's why I decided to write this post in which I will write differences and salient features of all these bikes which make these different from other models.

\All of these bikes are equipped with the same 125cc OHC engine and constant-mesh 5-speed transmission. And all these bikes have electric self start feature, suspension shocks, engine balancer to reduce vibrations. All models have a gear indicator, fuel gauge and trip meter in the main front meter. There is a difference in seating shape, fuel tank shape, headlight, alloy rim, and brakes.

In the following lines, I will write the unique salient features of all these four models.

Yamaha YB125Z

It is a family bike with a standard seat and round headlight. It has standard spoke wheel rim. The YB125Z motorcycle comes with water-and-dust-resistant drum brakes on the front and rear wheels.

It is available in metallic black, metallic blue and vivid cocktail red colors.

Its price is PKR 157,000.

Yamaha YB125Z-DX

It is also a family bike and looks like YB125Z except for a few differences. It has alloy rims and a front disk brake while almost all other features are the same like YB125Z.

It is available in two colors; vivid cocktail red and metallic black.

Its price is PKR 169,500.

Yamaha YBR 125

Yamaha YBR125 is a sports looking bike with a beautiful smoke shield headlight and sporty headlight and seat. It has alloy wheels. Yamaha YBR125 is designed for the comfort of the user and provided with a padded seat.

It is available in vivid cocktail red, racing blue and metallic black colors.

Its price is PKR 175,000.

Yamaha YBR125G

It is a complete sports bike with beautiful looks and a solid structure. It looks like a simple YBR but has a different structure and also has a round headlight. It has also alloy wheels and a front disc brake. YBR125G is also equipped with a padded seat for a comfortable ride.

It is also available in vivid cocktail red, racing blue and metallic black colors.

Its price is PKR 184,000.
